Prominent industry profiles join EIVEE’s board of directors

Accomplished Danish professionals Lars Terney, Christian Lund, Thomas Zeihlund and Niels Vejrup Carlsen join EIVEE's board of directors.

Following EIVEE's seed capital investment, a new board of directors has been established to ensure its continued growth journey: EIVEE helps companies create a full CO2 report across scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions. Based on a comprehensive understanding of the company's procurement data, EIVEE blends its unique software solution with deep industry knowledge to enable high-quality reporting data and strategic insights to reduce both the company's CO2 footprint and its purchasing costs.

Lars Terney steps in as new chairman of the board, bringing more than 30 years of experience in private equity and management consulting. He is Senior Partner and advisor for Nordic Capital's funds.

Christian Lund is co-founder of the Danish growth darling Templafy which has successfully gone from startup to scaleup and secured triple-digit million kroner in investments. He joins the board with extensive experience in startup growth focused on SAAS and B2B.

I can relate to many of the challenges and opportunities that surround scaling of an organisation, both in terms of strategy, management and execution. Niels Vejrup Carlsen is general partner at Seed Capital, which has backed EIVEE's journey with DKK 30M to accelerate the growth of their pioneering solution.

”All companies will need to work with their CO2 footprint. The largest part of the footprint is typically found within the supply chain where existing solutions for carbon accounting provide little visibility and neither accurate nor useful information. We think the EIVEE way is the only way. They start with getting their customers’ data straight so they can both optimise the bottom line and work actively with their carbon footprint. So we love the product, the market and most importantly the super strong team with many years of combined procurement and sustainability experience," says Niels Vejrup Carlsen.

Thomas Zeihlund is CEO/Managing Director at Whiteaway Group. Until recently, Thomas has been CCO and COO at the well-known food waste app Too Good to Go which was a first-mover in sustainability. His track record with global scaling and change management in an international context is something is highly valuable for EIVEE.

"The market for low-emission products and services is booming globally. Climate performance has become a competitive advantage, for example in project tenders, and we see EU legislation tightening up enormously around emissions in companies' supply chains. Finally, we see that sustainability is directly reflected in a company's bottom line, yet most large, international companies have ambitions to reduce their emissions but lack the necessary insight or tools for this journey", says Thomas Zeilund.
